Return Policy

Return Policy (Updated for 1/1/20)

  • All returns must have an RMA number. Returns without an RMA number may be refused. Please click here to complete the form and receive an RMA number.

  • We accept returns for a refund within 15 days from delivery date (certain restrictions apply and are listed below)

  • Items purchased on Facebook are eligible for store credit only. Items must be postmarked to us within 15 days of delivery date. (restrictions may apply and are listed below)

    • All sale items and items discounted more than 15% are store credit only

    • Close out items ending in .99 are final sale

  • House to Home logo items may be returned for store credit only (following the additional return policy guidelines)

  • Items must be postmarked within 15 days of delivery date to be accepted for a refund for online store purchases 

  • Following the 15 days, items are refundable for store credit only up to 21 days of delivery date.

  • If you need to return an item please click here and complete the form to receive an RMA number. Please use the order number on the invoice attached to the shipping label on the outside of your package. Once item is approved for return please see our ship to address below. We approve RMAs T-S during regular business hours. RMAs submitted after 3pm pst on Saturday will be responded to the following business day.

    • Candles may be returned only within 15 days of delivery date. Returns must be postmarked within 15 days of delivery date and wicks must be unburned as well as all tags attached.

    • Items that appear stained, dirty, or damaged (i.e. smoke, pet hair, cologne, etc) will be refused and sent back to you and will be subject to additional shipping charges

    • Blankets and/or Pillows must be unused and returned in original box with no damage to the blankets and/or pillows or the box. Blankets and/or Pillows returned without the box or with damage to the box will be returned to you and subject to additional shipping charges 

    • Food Items that appear opened or damaged (seals broken, packaging broken, etc.) will be returned to you and subject to additional shipping charges.

  • If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, it must be reported to us within 3 business days, or it is considered wear and tear and not eligible for return.

  • We are NOT responsible for reshipping items with incomplete or incorrect addresses. If items are returned to us for insufficient addresses, you may choose to have the items reshipped to you at your expense

  • All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable

  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item(s). 

    • If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email only if the item is rejected. If the item(s) pass inspection, and you are eligible for a refund, then your refund will be processed. At this point a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Your financial institution will be responsible for how quickly this is processed (in most cases this takes less than 5 days but can take up to 10). If your return is only eligible for store credit, it will be issued over email.

  • 20% re-stock fees may be applied to any return at merchant's discretion if customer has not complied with return policy 

 

Cancel or Modify Order

Due to our volume, orders cannot be canceled or modified once placed. Please double check your sizes, quantity, color, and address before submitting your order. We apologize for any inconvenience.

 

*Preorders cannot be modified or cancelled.

 

Return Shipping Instructions

  • Refer to Return Policy to ensure your return meets the requirements

  • Securely package your items in the package they were received or a similar package (Do not over-pack too tightly)

  • Enclose a copy of your packing slip along with your reason for returning

  • Please note: you are responsible for the return shipping charges

Refund Processing Time

*Please note that returns will be processed, and you will receive a refund within two weeks from the date we receive your items

 

Late or missing refunds 

  • If you have not received a refund following the two-week processing time, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 

  • If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at kattie.piazza@housetohomejd.com.

 

Holiday Return Policy

  • All items purchased from December 3rd - December 20th, 2019 are subject to our Holiday Return Policy.

  • We will refund your items after the typical 21 day cut off for store credit only as long as items are postmarked by January 6, 2020. (To receive refund, we still require orders to be postmarked 15 days from ship date)

  • All holiday purchases are still subject to the return policy guidelines above.
